The Real Estate Commission MANDATORY Core Course is divided into
two 2-hour courses--Part A and Part B. In 2010, Part A is only available as an
online class.
Part B: Real Estate Law and Don't Discriminate. Part 1 of this
course covers new legislation that will have an impact on your real estate practice.
The 2nd part addresses discrimination in housing.

Russ Goode has trained residential real estate salespersons and brokers for over 25 years. His expert witness experience concentrates on the standard of care for residential real estate agents.

In 1989 Russ earned the coveted CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation, a
distinction possessed by less than 5% of the country's realtors. In addition to his MBA in Finance, Russ has completed many
courses on real estate leasing, exchanging, management, appraisal, counseling, taxes, mortgages, foreclosures, negotiation, and creative
financing.
Russ has been certified by the Hawaii Real Estate Commission as a Salesperson and Broker Prelicensing Instructor since
1983 and a Continuing Education Instructor since 1989. An outstanding instructor, Russ periodically teaches real estate courses
for the University of Hawaii, the Hawaii Association of Realtors, real estate firms and the general public. In 1997, Russ was
honored as the Hawaii Association of Realtors "Educator of the Year."
Active in the community, Russ is a past president of the
Hawaii Mental Health Association, and Aloha United Way speaker, a Rotarian, a former Director of the Honolulu Board of Realtors and
a recipient of their community services award. He is a member of New Hope Christian Fellowship and is active on their Drama
Team. His hobbies are acting and handwriting analysis.
